BOOKING DEPOSIT & PAYMENT

A 25% deposit is required when booking. The remainder of your payment is due 8 weeks prior to your holiday start date. If your holiday starts within 8 weeks you will be asked to pay the balance after booking. Deposits are non-returnable. If your balance is not paid by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and relet the property.

ARRIVAL TIMES

Wakefield Court Beach - Your accommodation will be available from 3pm on your day of arrival, latest check in time is 5pm on a Saturday and 4pm any other day.
Beachside House - Your accommodation will be available from 4pm - 5pm.

Please do not arrive before these times as reception may be unattended. Late arrivals can normally be arranged.

DEPARTURE TIMES

Check out is strictly by 10am

GUESTS & NUMBERS

Beachside Holidays provides holidays for families and couples only. We are sorry—but bookings will not be accepted for young groups or parties in any of our accommodations. Admission to the property will be refused on arrival to persons disregarding this condition and no refund will be given.

The number of guests in the accommodation must not exceed the number of beds provided.

DOGS

1 small well behaved dog can be accommodated in certain properties, strictly by prior arrangement and an extra charge plus returnable deposit. Sorry - No pets are allowed in Beachside House, Pine Lodge, Hickling No1 & No3 and Barton No5. Well behaved dogs with responsible owners are most welcome in other chalets at Wakefield Court Beach. Please see our Pet Friendly page for full details. Dogs must be on a lead at all times and exercised off the grounds.

CAR PARKING

Car parking is in a private shared car park and is strictly limited to one car for Hickling & Barton accommodations, your own private numbered parking bay is provided. Pine Lodge has parking for 2 cars, Beachside House has 3 parking bays allocated in the shared car park.

HIRE ITEMS

The following items can be hired - High chairs at £1 & Cots at £2 per day. All cots and highchairs must be pre-booked. (Free in Pine Lodge and Beachside House)

ELECTRICITY & GAS

We have found that our Wakefield Court Beach Green Energy Policy encourages greener use, rather than when free electricity is included in the tariff and prices are increased overall. This is by far the fairest option as you just pay for what you use at the current OFGEM rate and you control your carbon footprint.

Wakefield Court Beach 'Hickling'- Electricity is by £1 pre-payment meter at the current OFGEM rates
Wakefield Court Beach 'Barton'- 50 units of Free Electricity is included in the tariff per week - additional Electricity is by £1 pre-payment meter at the current OFGEM rates, short breaks at pro-rata rates.
Wakefield Court Beach 'Pine Lodge' - 50 units of Free Electricity and 10m3 of Free LPGas is included in the tariff per week.( Short breaks at pro-rata rates. Extra electricity/gas by meter reading at current OFGEM rate, payable prior to departure. 1 unit = 1 KWh).
Beachside House - All electricity and oil for central heating/hot water is included in the tariff.

ON SITE LAUNDRY

There is an on site laundry facility available to guests with a domestic washing machine and tumble drier, use by slot coin machine. Closed during Covid-19 restrictions.

SECURITY DEPOSITS

Beachside House £250, security deposit per week is required, this is returnable subject to all terms and conditions having been met and there being no outstanding payments.

CLEANING

It is the Hirers responsibility to keep the accommodation and its fixtures, fittings and equipment in good order. All accommodation is "non-serviced self catering" the Hirer therefore agrees to leave the property in the same clean and tidy condition at the end of the hire period.

DAMAGE

The Hirer shall be liable for any damage or loss to the property or its contents.

BALL GAMES

We do not allow ball games in the grounds of Wakefield Court Beach. This is due to previous damage sustained and also to maintain the ambiance at Wakefield Court Beach. There`s plenty of room on the adjacent sandy beach for ball games.

ACCOMMODATION ALLOCATION

Although we will normally allocate you in the Hickling or Barton chalet number you book, we reserve the right to allocate you a different chalet of the same, or higher grade, if operational difficulties require it.

WIFI

A free WiFi zone is provided for all guests, although we do try we, cannot guarantee WIFI reception in all parts of the park or 100% up time.

BEDDING

Duvets, pillows, blankets & all linen are provided in all of the properties. Beachside House - all linen and towels are included in the tariff, beds made up for your arrival. Pine Lodge - all linen is included in the tariff, beds made up for your arrival. Wakefield Court Beach "Barton" - all linen and 1 towel bundle are included in the tariff, beds made up for your arrival. Wakefield Court Beach "Hickling" - Linen packs are provided for all beds.

LEISURE & POOL FACILITIES

Use of the swimming pools and entertainment facilities are off site and are subject to the terms and conditions of the facility providers and are subject to an additional fee. Not available from November until March. Use is entirely at the facility providers discretion.

PICTURES

The pictures shown on our website are a true representation of the holiday offered, however decor and furnishings can change and therefore the pictures should only be taken as a representation of what will be in the accommodation at the time of your holiday.

REFUNDS for CANCELLATION or CURTAILMENT

If you are compelled to cancel your booking you must notify us immediately by telephone or email. You must confirm in writing or email. Your deposit is non returnable. Once we receive cancellation of the contract, we will endeavour to relet for you. If we are successful in reletting, any paid balance remaining is returnable. If we do not relet, then you will be held responsible for the prompt payment for the full balance-of-hire due on the accommodation you booked. Should you need to cut your holiday short for whatever reason, we regret that we are unable to refund any monies paid.

BOOK WITH CONFIDENCE during COVID-19
You will be able to choose one of the following options if we cancel your booking, or if you cancel your booking because UK Government Covid-19 measures mean that it is unlawful to travel to or make use of the accommodation you booked:

✓ Full refund
We will refund you the full amount you have paid for your booking.

✓ Transfer to a later date
Subject to availability, we will help you move your booking to a later date with no admin fees, but please be aware that if the cost of your new accommodation is higher than your original booking, then you’ll need to pay the difference.

PROBLEMS

Whilst every effort is made to ensure that you have an enjoyable holiday, problems can sometimes occur. If you have any cause for complaint this must be notified to us immediately to allow us the opportunity to take remedial action. We cannot accept any liability in relation to any shortcomings or claim of whatever nature if you fail to notify us of any complaint, problem or claim at the time during your holiday and secondly write/email to us within 28 days of the end of your holiday.

BEACHSIDE HOLIDAYS NORFOLK

Beachside Holidays Norfolk is the sole letting agency for all properties at Wakefield Court Beach. The booking deposit is payable to Beachside Holidays Norfolk and the balance of your holiday is payable directly to Wakefield Court Beach. UK distance selling regulations - this contract has a 7 day cooling off period for both parties.
