Superb Period thatched Norfolk cottage completely renovated and refitted to a luxurious standard. Nuthatch Cottages is our delightful three bedroom traditional thatched Norfolk cottage, dating from 1782, with a wealth of charm and original features. Fishing and boating on the Norfolk Broads are close by and the traditional seaside resort of Great Yarmouth lies 5 miles distant with the Pleasure Beach fun fair, shows, Sea Life Centre, pier and amusements. Norwich, a short drive away, offers excellent shopping, cathedral, theatre, inns and restaurants. Hemsby has something for everyone - magnificent golden sandy beaches, swimming pools and you'll find the Kings Head Inn just around the corner from Nuthatch Cottages, the ideal village pub, with good quality meals at reasonable prices. Don Luigi's Italian Restaurant and the Highwayman Restaurant at nearby Winterton offer great value-for-money restaurant and bar meals. In the centre of the village there are a good variety of shops and take-aways. Of course there are plenty of country and coastal walks to get away from it all.
Totally renovated and refurbished to a very high standard, with a wealth of character and original features. The comfortable spacious lounge includes a ships mast supporting the lounge ceiling, a large inglenook fireplace, 28" widescreen TV with digital Freeview (30 channels) and DVD player. There are cottage style stairs winding upto the large master bedroom, with beamed ceiling, a king size bed fitted with pine furniture; 2nd bedroom, with beamed walls and ceiling, with ample room for the twin beds and pine furniture; 3rd bedroom, full of character, has a beamed low sloping ceiling with twin beds. (Access to 2nd and 3rd bedrooms is via Master bedroom).
